Secretary North West Provinces - With Reference to the Honble Courts Despatch on the subject of improving the system of Eduction in British India reports having appointed Mr. Reid Director of Public Instruction on a salary of Rs. 200 per month and adverting to the large extent of the Country proposes the appointment of two Assistant Inspectors in addressed to the two Inspectors already authorized under orders of 26th January last the former @ Rs. 250 per month a to be raised after approved service to 600 Rs. per month and the latter @ 800 Rs. per month in the first instance.
