Chamberlain, I.C.S., an Assistant Commissioner in the Central Provinces, of Rule XII of the Departmental Examination Rules in force in those Provinces, and grant to him of the salary of an Officiating Deputy Commissioner during the period he holds charge of the Seoni district. Inquiry why Babu H. C. Bose, senior member of the Provincial Civil Service serving in the Seoni district, was not appointed to officiate.
