Proposal to exempt Lieutenant Governors and members of the Indian Civil Service acting as Governors from paymen tof annuity deduction under Article 556 (a) Civil Service Regulations not accepted by the Secretary of State. Amendment of note to Article 556 (a) Civil Service Regulations in order to make it clear that Lieutenant Governor continue to liable for payment of annuity deductions.
