Rejection of a proposal to amend rule 5 of the General Provident Fund Rules so as to allow an optional subscriber who, when he ceases to subscribe to the Fund has at his credit less than Rs. 150, to withdraw, if he so desires, the whole amount at once instead of waiting until he finally quits Government service.
