Proposal that Mr. L.Robertson C.S.I., Inspector General of Police, Bombay should be allowed to draw pay as acting Commissioner, 1st grade, whenever any such acting appointment is held by an officer junior to him or by an officer in whose place Government are prepared to certify that Mr. Robertson would have been appointed to act but for his appointment as Inspector General of Police.
