Ruling to the effect that the conditions attached to the grant of privilege leave are not contravened by departure for Europe, before the expiration of three months after an officer`s return on duty from privilege leave, in the case of an officer who on vacating his appointment on the completion of his tour of service, is permitted under Military rules to reside and draw pay in Europe prior to retirement from the service. The case of Surgeon General Cornish, late Surgeon General with the Government of Madras, disposed of in accordance with this ruling.
