W. Sowerby Esquire - Civil Engineer - Reports his arrivalto take charge of the Kumoon Iron Works as Chief Suprintendent Engineer also that of W. Gower one of the Staff af workmen the others being expected daily that certain Machinery and tools wer purchased by him that the visited certain Iron Works on the Continent of Europe and also those at Madras - Requests to be furinshed with copies of all reports and papers on the Kumoon Works and with the full and complete views and wishes of the Government that he may prepare plans and Estimates for carrying on the Works.
