Advocate General - In reply to a letter of the 18th Ultimo - Regarding Mr. Ewer and Mr. Alkins - States that it will be necessary to transmit a copy of the letter from the Resident t Fort Marlbro of the 17th June last to the Court of Directors - Is of opinion that the Acts of Parliament do not extend the Jurisdiction of the Supreme Court of Bencoolen and suggests that the Law Officers in England will be enabled to advise the proper measures to be taken against Mr. Ewers surviving Executor in England.
