Letter from Mr.J.Joys to Mr.E.Hay, Secretary, representing that Messers.Luard,Stuart and McIntosh merchants of Calcutta, who have lately become bankrupt, ar indebted to him for a certain sum of money on bonds which are not due, and requesting that Mr.H.Stuart, one of their partners, who intends embarking on the William Pitt, may not be permitted to do so until he has given security either for the payment of his debts or surrender of his person.
