Copy of a letter from Mr. J. Richmond (alias J. Camedy) to the Governor in Council of St. Helena, representing that he has been sold without any authority by the Rev. Carr, formerly Chaplain of St. Helena, enclosing copies of several letters in support of his assertion, and soliciting that he may be restored to his liberty and be permitted to return to his native land.
