Letter fromCapt. P.D. Bonnevaux, referring to his capture by Mahratta pirates , with all the secret despatches and private letter he was bringing out from England intimating the desptach of the private letters which he has been able to recover b means of a bribe explaining why he never threw the secret desptaches overboard, itimating that he was afterwards obliged to burn these despatches and giving an account of the treatment he has received in prison.
