Letter from the President and Council of St. Helena, intimating their receipt of the Boards letters dated the 4th and 11th February,1779, and of the several supplies laden on the Godfrey, Shrewsbury, and Gattton, requesting the Board to continue sending them double the usual quantity of grain, reporting that the Southampton and Nassau with their supplies on board sailed for Europe without touching at their port, intimating that they are in great need of those supplies, indenting for certain other supplies explaining that the exorbitant price of Madeira wine complained of by the Board was the Invoice price, and enclosing a list of their shipping.
