Auriol, Agent for supplies to the other Presidencies, giving reasons for the short delievery of rice from the ships Nancy, Betscy and Union , enclosing a representation from two of the captains of the ships carrying rice to Madras and reporting that he could not freight any ship at less than rupees 5 per bag to go to Madras.
