Letter from the President and Council Fort St. George, enclosing an indent for packing stuff from their Warehouse-Keeper promising to send their estimate of ceceipts and disbursements for the ensuing year , requesting a supply of saltpetre intimating the arrival of Mr. Thomas Rumbold and Major Hector MOnro on board the ships Besho-awgh and Lord North , Mr. Rumbold taking charge of the Government and Major Munro his seat in the councuil and lastly reporting that the copies of agreements eecuted with Mr. Fergusson did not reach them.
