To Superintendent - With reference to his letter dated 5th November last regarding the Telegraph across the Hooghly at Hautcollah forwards copy of the foregoing letter from Bengal & its enclosure on the subject and requests that he will lay down in the same position a cable of sufficient weight & strength to reseat the drug of Native Boats.
