Copy of a letter from Mr.E.Hay ,Secretary , to the Commissioners of Police intimating that the functions exercised undertheir control will in future be performed by persons nominated , at the Courts of Quarter Sessions, but they should continue to discharge some functions till the new arrangements are complete instructing them about the establishment to be retained , and directing them to deliver to him all their accounts and records before the meeting of the Quaeter Sessions.
