From Secretary to the Lieut. Governor North Western Provinces - Transmits copy of a letter from Mr. I. G. Deeds soliciting permission to embark on Furlough next Season at Bombay drawing his allowances for the same period that he would have been entitled to had he embarked from his own Presidency. The Lt. Governor would recommend as an indulgences that Servants in the North Western Provinces should be allowed to embark at Bombay, but fears it is not admissible under Acts of Parliament.
