Viscount. E. D. de Richemont Administrator General of the Frech Establishment in India - Adverts to the projected Expedition from this Presidency to the Malicolo Islands and expresses his acknowledgements for the port taken by this Government in that affairs - entirely approves the proposition of embarking a Frechman on board the Research - Positive injunctions will be issued to Mr. Chaignean himself according to the wishes of the British Government. - Expreses regret at noticing a passage in the Resolutions of the Vice President in Council connected with the expedition which is calculated to coney an enoneous impression of the part taken in it by the French Government and disclaims as un official the Communication from Monseur Cordier on which the Resolution in question is apparently forwarded. Notices the expedition from France to the same place.
