To Marine Board - Communicating the opinion of Government as to the rate of remuneration to be allowed to Commanders of River Steamers whether belonging to the Pilot Service or not - Fixing the Emoluments of Messers Wall and Wiseham at Rs. 160 each Per Month. Mr. Wall having the option of joining the Pilot Establishment whenever most advantageous to him - Authorizing a batta of Rs. 2 Per diem in addition to the above allowance when Employed out of the River Hoogly - as also the Extra batta claimed by Mr. Wall for the voyage to Ghazepore - Mr. Walls application for Extra allowance of Rs. 1 Per diem for the Charge of the Governor Generals Boat Establishment is disposed of in the present arrangement.
