To Board - In reply - The Vice President in Council desires to learn whether all Vessels even those bringing Bills of Health from the British Officers in the Persian Gulf are intended to be subjected to the annoyance for the period in question. If such a Measures contemplated by the Medical Authorities and by the Marine Board Government desires that such be made known to the Mercantile Community and to the Public, in order that before giving the sanction of Government to such an obstruction to commerce it may be ascertained whether the Community of Calcutta expect & are prepared for precautions of this Kind involving so much annoyance and detention to Ships and their Cargoes.
