Previous to sanctioning the Measures proposed -The Vice President in Council desires to learn whether the late favorable Accounts of the state of things in the Gulf will warrant any relaxation of the precautions or make any difference in the view taken by the Board as to the present necessity of an Outer Station for the preliminary Examination of Ships - In like manner the additional outer Fences proposed to be raised at Diamond Harbour & the other items forming an expenditure of 2095 Rs. besides the monthly charge of 660 Rs. Sanctions the charge of Rs. 280.9.7.
