From Board - Solicit the sanction of Government to the charge of 8 Rs per Diem for the period of 2 months for the hire of a Boat to be stationed at Diamond Harbour with an Anchor & Cable ready to afford aid to any Vessel under Quarantine which might part from her Moorings with regard to the opinion of the Port Surgeon of the necessity of preparing one of the Salt Petre Godowns for fumigating the Cargoes of Vessels under Quarantine etc recommend waiting until the necessity for landing is determined, and that a Gang of Government Convicts would afford the best means of conveying Cargo from the Boats to the Bankshall.
