From Marine Board - Relative to the renewal of the engagements of Engineeers Henderson & Anderson who were sent from England & Mr. Pugh who was engaged in this Country. The two former decline to renew on the same terms as Mr. Lulham. Recommend that the offer of Messers Henderson & Anderson to resign the Service from 1st January next be accepted and that each be allowed 1000 Rs. for a Passage home as was granted to Mr. Pierce. Mr. Pugh consents to renew his engagement for 5 years on receiving 1500 Rupees and 1000 Rs. for a Passage to Europe, suggest that Mr. Pugh be offered the premium without the Passage. Advert to Captain Johnsons report just received, that the Court will engage New Engineers.
