To Post Master General Stating that the Supreme Government - Having been informed that the Dispatches Containg Khureetas and other Dispatches of the Political Deparment have been refused transmission by the ordinary Dak to Loodiana on the ground of their Exceeding 12 Salas in weight agreealy to Sector No. 7 of Act No. 17 of 1837 Clause 44 of the Rules, Desiring him to Explain the Deputy Post Master at Calcutta that the limit of 12 Solas is only for the Public and was never intended by this Section to Exclude from transmission Deapatches from the Government it self which sometimes of necessity Exceed the presribed Weight.
