Forwards the following papers to the Foreign Department vizt. Letter from Government of Madras dated 13th April 1856 with a view to the issue of instruction to the Chief Commissioner of the Punjab and to the Commissioner of Mysore to adopt measures to prevent the sutrance within the companys dominions of wandering bands of Jrances and other Foreigners also with the view of eliciting information in regard to the circumstances noticed by the Madras Government of the local authorities of Mysore having given layge daily supplies in money and sheep to the Band of Persians who had passed in to Mysore and who are reported to have miseonducted themselves there.
