Colonial Secretary Comarbs - In reply to letter of the 26th August last relative to the construction of a line of E. T. between the Island of the Colonial Govt. agree to the terms and coditions specified therein in connestion with the proposed construction of the line the Govt. wish however to carry the Island portion of the line from galle to colombo and Kandy and thence by the Central Road to Manua and are aslo desions that the line between Colombo and Galle should be first constructed.
