Read a Dispatch from the Honble the Court of Directors No. 126 dated 12th December 1855 deciding with referenceto Governer Generals letter No. 8 dated 31st July 1855 & letter from the Government of India No. 69 dated 17th August 1853 that appeals against the acts of the Lieut Governers of Bengal & the North Western Provinces will in future lie to the Government of India though without bearing the right of appeal also to the Honble Court & approving of Civil Servants & Chaplucus in the Bengal establishment being placed as services under the Government of India.-B.S.
