From Acting Chief Secretary - Transmits copy of a letter from the Emigration Agent at Madras and requests to be informed if the regulations inserted in the Calcutta Gazette of the 24 December 1842 relating to Emigrants to the Mauritius have been published under the sanction of the Governmernt of India in which case they will be adopted at the Port of Madras.
