Under Secretary - In Continuation of letter of 14th Instant above recorded tranmits copy of a letter addressed to the Secretary to the College of Fort William permitting Mr. H. S. Reid reported qualified for the public Sevices by proficiency in two of the native languages to continue attached to the College for the prupose of prosecutiy the further study of the Oriental language.
