From Resident Singapore - Intimating that he has regulated the establishment of Prince of Wales Island agreeably to the revision proposed in Mr. Fullertons dispatch of 13th November to take effect from 1st January. Has continued the payment to the Free School of 210 instead of 100 Rs. and ordered the continuance of Pensions to certain Individuals alluded to by Mr. Fullertons and sanctioned in Courts letter of 17th April 1829. Referring to his letter of 30th November for reports on Schools, and enclosing a report on the Catholic one. Encloses a Register of Contingencies and supplies to show the nature of the charges as directed by the late Chief Commissioner dated 5th October 1830. - B. S.
