From Junior Member & Secretary - In reply to 16th Para of letter of 9th Ultimo. Reports the circumstances which prevented the abolition of the Bhaugulpore School agreeably to the orders of Government of 14th August 1829. Points out charges which the Committee think admit of some retrenchment, and requests that the difference between the actual expenditure and the amount appropriated since commencement of 1830 from the Education Fund may be transferred to the General Fund and that the whole sum may in future be paid in Calcutta as in other cases of a similar nature.
