Governor - States that the magistrate of Gopeegunge reports that from near gopeegunge to Allahabad the whole country is in the hunds of various large purties of oude Talokdars & Zeminders each having several guns who are acquiring village after village some mutineers form oude are joining them Communicates the strength of the force in that direction & the address that would be required to drive off & punish the Oude men & recover the country north of the roaud so that the Telegraph & Dak and Bullock train communication may be secoured from destruction.
