Menlvee Pradnt ally Law officer & Ludder ameen of Terhoot Mazufferpore in reports that 26th segantee troopers who were employed in guarding Mazufferpore fled away on the night of the 1st Instant with 6 Horses & some other articles belonging to the Junge &Col. of the District & that on their being attacked by the Najeeb Guards, Police officers & others 5 Lowars lately appointed by the Magistrate who were also runing away with the Troopers have been apprehended states that 2 men were killed in the affair that the government records officers Treasury & Jail are safe & that the inhabitants of the place are all well disposed & ready to assist the government.
