To Secretary - In consquence of the articles which appeared in the Friend of India Newspaper of the 2nd Instant headed the first warning states that the Governor General in Council would have felt it necessary to direct the revocation of the license which has been granted to the publisher of that paper & that His Lord in Council only abstains from adopting this course in consequence of an assurances he has received on the part of the representatives of the absent proprietor that the newspapers shall during his absences he arrived on so as to avoid all cause of complaint & within the terms of the license Requests that this may be communicated to the publisher.
