Charge of the Goorkah force regarding the recent abandanment of Goruckpore by the Civil officers of the District not withdamding the probibition of the Commissioner . Mr. Wignyard & Mr. Paterson leave respectively lost their apointments from the 13th Instant the date on which they unauthorizedly their up their charge who have been desired to preceed to benares on the fooling of Civil Servants out o9f employ to explain themselves to the Lieut. Governor & Mr. Bird Junior Magistrate & Deputy Col. the only officer left int he District has been directed to assume charge of it.
