To Secretary - Acknowledges receipt of the above as also a letter direct from Mr. Wrsnyard dated 1th Instant requesting a decesionof his case acquaints him of the Govrnor General opinion on the above case and entirly concurs in the views taken bb the Lieutt, Governor of the circumstances under which the district of Goruckpore was abandaned which concurrence has been already expressed in letter dated 11th September and that Mr.Wesngard should be informed in reply to the question put in the 1th paragraph of his letter datedk 1th Instant that the relinquistment of the Goruckpore district by the Civil Authorities was not jastifiable.
