Secretary - In reply to letter of the 16th Instant regarding the fixed place of residence of the Lieut. Governer during the hot season, states theat in contemplation of his permanent Head Quarter becoming established aty Agra, His Honor would request that the question of an allowance for the furnishing & equipment of the house rented as Government House as in the case of the Lieut. Governer of Bengal, may be submitted for the consideration of he Honble Court remarks that it would be desirable to purchase the house, if the owner will dispose of it.
