To Chief Commissioner - In reply to letter of 27th Augsut on the Efficiency of the plan proposed for the Country Police, Offers remarks thereon. The subject respecting the Establishment to be provided for the Ordnance and Military Stores has been referred to the Military Department. A List of which has not yet been received. Orders have been issued regarding the Extra Medical and Commissariat Establishments Allotted for conducting the duties of those Departments. Further reports expected on the reduced expense and arrangements suggested for the future management Maintenance and Superintendence of the Convicts. Approved the reduction effected by the Registrar of the Court of Judicature and Authorizes the Establishment as it now stands until further orders.
