Resolution - Informs the Military Department with reference to Extract No. 392 of 10 May last complaining of the incomenisnce and trouble occasioned to the Secretary of that Department by the existing practic in the Post Office of requiring from the Secretaries of Offices in which letters bona fide on the Public Service are delivered with the view to the remission of Postage chargable on them that this system cannot be comementyly allerd but that these Certificate need not be signed by the Secretary. They may be signed by the Deputy or assistant Secretary and the Register and this with the adoption of lithographed or printed form of Certificate will obviate tobe inconvence complained of .
