To Secretary - In reply Stating that at this Presidency all letters on the subject of the Civil Military or Medical Funds are exempted from the payment of postage and the diffeculty fell at Madras in regard to the form in which such exemption should be granted can be obviated by recognizing in the Post Master General the authority to remit Postage on his being satisfied that the letters are Board fide on the serviec of the fund Steam Postage beviable for the Quens Government must be collected and accounted for.
