To Officiating Secretary - With reference to Resolution of this Government regarding the Examinatin of Uncood. Officer transmitted with letter of the 18th January last forwads copy of Courts Despatch no. 90 of 1856 dated 3rd September on the subject and requests he will report if the Honble Court suggestion for the adoption generally in all the Presdies of the Punjab Plan of holding only one Examination in the course of the year for the examination of assistant can be advantageous adopted. Requests also that a consise note maybe prepared and furnished to this Government for the purpose indivated in the last para of the Despatch shewing the measures adopted for regulating the selection of candidated for the lower graders of the public Service.
