Read a Despatch from the Right Honble the Secretary of State for India No. 24 of 1859 dated 24th February desiring that the Administrator General be instructed to pay into the General Treasury that portion of the Estate of George Hweitt which has devolved on Government as bona vacantia for want of a rightful owner & that five sixths of the same he remitted to England for such persons as would have been entitled under the statute of Distributions had the said George Hewitt been Legitimate the remaining one sixth being applied as part of the revenues of India.
