From - Forwards for information & guidance Extract para 7 of a Despatch from the Secretary of State No. 45 of 1859 dated 19th May, approving of the decision come to in regard to the privilege leave to Military Officers holding Civil Employ & permitting the full period of 3 months absence to Court as service for pension, but if an extension of leave be applied for by a Military Officers who has taken privilege leave under the Civil Rules it must be subject to the Military Rules on regard to reduction of salary after the first two months absence.
