From - With reference to Home Extract dated 21 July & Endorst dated 25 November 1858 on the subject of coveying the usual feeof one rupees on Emigrants to the Mauritius & to the enquiry of the proceeding to the Mauritius as the whole of the bonafide charges incurred in British India on account of Emigration to that Colony is received from the Mauritius Government under the orders of April 1854 but that a proportion of the Protectors salary of not charged to the Mauritius should be charged as be Calcutta - Deems it therefore expedient to atler the system under which the accounts for the West Indies are prepared as to assimilete them to the accounts he prepared for all the Presidencies by the Accountant General take Government of India for Submission to the Colonial Office - London & the # of the fee of one rupees descontinued # & the actual charges # to Halls Colonial Government West Indies.
