Read a despatch from the Honble Court of Directors No. 47 of 1857 dated 18th March transmitting in reply to letter No. 120 of 1856 dated 12th September regarding the proposed emigration of Indian laborers to St. Leveia Grenada copy of one from the Assistant Secretary to the India Board with its enclosers from the colonial office recpecting the emigration of natives of India to Gunada St. Lusia stating that the reasons for witholsing sanction from the removal of emigration to St. Lucia have been communicated to that colony and that colong and that they not admitting the validity of those reasons H. M. Government have advised the colony to act with are exception on the view expressed by this Government also forwarding on copy of a parliamentary return relating to emigration referred to on the enclosed a correspondence.
