Read a despatch from the Right Honble the Secretary of state for India No. 22 fo 1858 dated 22nd October forwarding copyof a correspondence with the Secretary to the Board fo Costoms relating to a case of passes with the words East India companying bills of exchange in the water mark which has been inforted from bologue for transmission to Messrs Graff and Banzeger at Calcutta requesting to be informed of the steps which may be taken in anticipatin of the arrival of the passes which has been shipped on the Horigoment and be prunished with a report on the assertion of the shipper that the paper is sent out on fulfilment of a contract with Government which would be in contravention of repeated orders.
