Acting Chief Secretary - Forwards as requested a Tab. state in the prescribed form showing in detail the arrangements that have been made in regard to the increase of the salaries of certain of the servants on the Establishment of the agent of the governor of Madras in Vigagapatam in canfaruinty with the instes record from the Honble Court of Despatch adding that a similar statement relating to the Ganjam agency was submitted with his letter of the 29th May last & that in that return the salaries of the two 3rd writers should have been put down at 20 Rs. sach instead of 15 Rs. as directed by the # sanctioned by this government under date the 11th April 1856.
