With reference to Military Deptt. Letter no. 749 of the 21st Ulto., states that in transfer of Major Abercrombic's 5 per cent Govt. Ronussory note of 1841/42 for Company's Rs. 1000, a 4 per cent G.P. note of 1854/55 for that amount has been obtained from the accountant General.
