With reference to Military Deptt. Docket no. 215 Dated 24th Instt. states, the service of Serjeant Major R. Couch of the Kemaoon Battalion amount to 21 years & upwards of which the longer portion was pssed in the Company's Army, while move than the last 8 were spent as Serjeant, he is entitled on discharged to the pension of 2 shillings a day which he wishes to draw in Europe.
