With reference to mily dept. lr. no. 35 of the 4st jan. 1856 states that as mily dept. despatch no. 990 of 28th sept. 1855 did not coll fir any report on major smiths proceedings in regarding toe the serzure of some Hacharge kookies and their property by the Heddah peaple under his orders.
